How our customers sell more to the visitors they already have

Higher order values, homepages that fit each visitor, and decisions backed by test results instead of gut feeling.

Jollein · Baby lifestyle & nursery

Shorter isn’t always better. Adding a step to checkout raised average order value by 3.9%.

Jollein already showed product recommendations on its product pages. They were relevant, but they barely moved order value: at that point customers are still deciding whether to buy what they’re looking at. In the cart the same recommendations worked better, but most customers skipped the cart and went straight to checkout.

With Contenzi the team tested a flow that sends every customer through the cart, and turned the cart into a place to find personalised add-ons based on what they viewed and what was already in their basket. The risk was obvious: an extra step could cost conversions. So the test measured both.

“We knew there was an opportunity to increase the value of each order, but adding another step to the customer journey felt counterintuitive. The test gave us the confidence to make the change based on data rather than assumptions.”

Amac · Consumer electronics

One homepage. Switchers and upgraders see different versions of it.

Amac is the official Apple reseller in the Netherlands. Its ecommerce team draws a hard line between two audiences: switchers coming over from another brand or OS, and upgraders trading in an older Apple device. Those two groups want opposite things from the same page.

With Contenzi the team segments further on buying frequency and intent, and builds each variant in the visual editor from Amac’s own component library, so every version is unmistakably Amac and none of it needs a release.

Where to start

Four proven plays that keep on winning

01

The hero that knows where they came from

Swap the hero message, banner or offer based on the campaign, channel or audience that brought the visitor in, so the site picks up the conversation the ad started.

02

The right products, not the popular ones

Drive product highlights, bundles and upsells from live behaviour, preferences or model scores, generated from your catalogue rather than hand-picked per variant.

03

Landing pages that match the ad

Personalised ads deserve a personalised landing. Carry the product, promo and category through from the click so ROAS doesn’t leak on the first page.

04

The nudge that fits the visitor

Urgency, loyalty incentives, delivery promises or value propositions, shown to the people they actually move and tested before rolling out to everyone.
